Club Social (Steak Special)

Well tonight you can just book a table and come and have a nibble or a feast.  We’re making the most of the fabulous Summer evenings in the garden so you’ll have a garden table booked as well as a table inside and this is our final Steak Weekend so expect some of our fab steak specials on the menu.  Start with drinks on the terrace and eat outside if you wish. We’ll post the menu up in advance of the event right here but you just order whatever you fancy on the night (just like a normal restaurant, how strange and wonderful!).

 

 

Club Summer Classics

Starters

Tapenade Platter | £6.50

Black olive and aged Parmesan, sun blushed tomato and chilli and pea, mint and baby broad bean tapenades served with warm herbed focaccia  (add seared fillet or griddled haloumi + £2.50)

Aveyron Salad | £7.50

Smoked lardons, Armagnac flamed walnuts, roquefort and wine poached pear with leaves and house dressing

Basque Goats Cheese | £7.50

Chèvre Blanc melted on rounds of sourdough bread with a marmalade, honey and walnut glaze served with leaves and tamarind dressing

Mains

Captain Couth’s Steak Brunch | £24.50

28 day dry aged local sirloin, seared, sliced and served rare with chimichirri salsa, triple fried chips, two fried eggs and slow roasted vine tomatoes

Surf and Turf| £26.50

Thick cut slices of steak from a slab of local Chateaubriand topped with smoked garlic prawns.  Served with our triple fried chips and Summer salad.

Txuleton | £31

Dry aged, local T-Bone of fillet and sirloin, served with Basque peppers, paprika and Parmesan wedges and a leaf salad

 Summer Vegetable Stack£15.50

Peppers, sweet potatoes, aubergine and courgettes with Herbes de Provence. Topped with our melted ‘chedzella’. Roasted pepper and smoked garlic sauce. Chimmichurri. Served with a side of triple fried chips.

Seafood Plate | £22.50

Spiced and griddled salmon with lime yoghurt, devon crab with dill mayo and king prawns with chimichurri. Mango salsa and triple fried chips
