A weekend of Southern Italian specials.  Tonight book in for club classics plus some Italian specials.  Just choose when you get there if you’d like to nibble or feast.  Just get your vespa down to the club.

Antipasti

Aranchini

Risotto balls with a smoked mozzarella filing

Salvia Fritta con Crudo di Parma

Fried sage with Parma ham

Sole pesto di Pomodoro

Sun-blushed tomato pesto with buffalo mozzarella and warm focaccia

Main Courses

Massimo’s Meatballs

Meatballs made with pork, beef and pancetta and made with sourdough crumb and lots of red wine, a touch of chilli pesto and cream served with pan fried potatoes, peppers, spinach, aged Parmesan and basil

Crab and chilli linguine

Linguini tossed with crab, chilli, parsley, asparagus and white wine with shavings

of Parmesan and then topped with our smoked garlic king prawns

Melanzane

A rosé port sauce, baked aubergine & herby courgettes, topped with Parmesan

cheese sauce. Choice of triple fried chips or side salad

Dolce Platter

Affogato

espresso shot, gelato, chocolate salted caramel sauce

Tiramisu Brownie

Coffee and white chocolate double baked brownie

Crostata di prugne

Roast plums on all butter pastry case with honeyed mascarpone

Mains

3 Peppercorn Rub Fillet | £24 (Choose Florentine or Bab’s Brunch Style)

Thick cut slices of steak from a slab of local Chateaubriand. Served with our triple fried chips and Chimmichurri salsa. Choose Florentine style with roasted vegetables or go Babs with two free range fried eggs and roasted garlic tomatoes.

Greek Pork | £17.50

Flattened pork escalopes with a smoked garlic, oregano and pink peppercorn  rub. Patates Lemonates- Olive oil baked potato wedges with lemon and herb dressing. Tzatziki and smoked hummus. Side of tomato, Kalamata olive and feta salad.

Roasted Vegetable Stack | £15.50

Mediterranean vegetables with a melted goats cheese and honey topping. Roasted pepper sauce and basil oil. Side of triple fried chips.

Club Seafood Plate | £21.50

Crab with lemon & dlll mayo. Pan fried king prawns in smoked garlic butter. BBQ rub salmon with mint yoghurt. Served with a leaf salad and side of triple fried chips.

Desserts

Triple Chocolate Brownie | £7

Double baked brownie with dark, white and milk chocolate served with clotted cream ice cream or whipped vanilla cream

Tricolour Meringue | £7

Large, sticky meringue with green pistachio ice cream, red plum and apple compote and white chewy meringue with flaked almonds
