Well tonight you can just book a table and come and have a nibble or a feast.  We’ve got a French theme to our menus this week so we’ll have our club favourites plus some french fancies for you to choose from.  We’ll post the menu up in advance of the event right here but you just order whatever you fancy on the night (just like a normal restaurant, how strange and wonderful!).

 

 

FRENCH CAFE SPECIALS

Confit of Duck | £19

slow cooked duck leg, white wine and juniper reduction, aligot mash, green beans with shallots and sun-blush tomatoes 

Paris Café Steak | £24.50

28 day dry aged local sirloin with stuffed and roasted tomatoes, triple fried ‘frites’ and smoked garlic butter. Served with side salad

Salmon and Prawn Niçoise | £18.50

Oven roasted vine tomatoes, French beans, griddled Charlotte potatoes, black olives and a house vinaigrette topped with a thick, lightly spiced salmon steak and king prawns

Moules Marinere |£16

Large bowl of fresh mussels cooked to the classic marinières recipe with white wine, rose garlic and flat leaf parsley served with either warm smoked garlic baguette for dipping or triple fried frites

Starters

Our take on Basque pintxos plates. You can choose 1 item as a larger starter size (£7.50) or pick 3 items for (£14) or 6 for (£25) in taster sizes to make a sharing platter for the table

Veg

Baked aubergine, smoked hummus and crumbled feta

Sun blush pesto and griddled halloumi and figs in syrup

Fish

Salmon salsa

Devilled king prawns

Meat

Rare beef cut with chimmichurri

Griddled Leon chorizo with fried quails eggs

*All options include freshly baked sourdough baguette or daily bread specials and leaf salad

Mains

Roasted Vegetable Stack | £15.50

Mediterranean vegetables with a melted goats cheese and honey topping. Roasted pepper sauce and basil oil. Side of triple fried chips.

Club Seafood Plate | £21.50

Crab with lemon & dlll mayo. Pan fried king prawns in smoked garlic butter. BBQ rub salmon with mint yoghurt. Served with a leaf salad and side of triple fried chips.

Desserts

Triple Chocolate Brownie | £7

Double baked brownie with dark, white and milk chocolate served with clotted cream ice cream or whipped vanilla cream

Tricolour Meringue | £7

Large, sticky meringue with green pistachio ice cream, red plum and apple compote and white chewy meringue with flaked almonds

Selection of Waffles | £6.50

Freshly made Liege waffle with a selection of toppings
