We have a rather marvellous events programme of suppers and feasts. Some of these are repeat plays of club favourites (like our Steak Platter or Lobster nights) and others are one-off specials. Your table is yours for the whole event so guests tend to turn up when the bar opens for pre-dinner drinks and stay until the bar closes. All of our nights are very relaxed and sociable and have a great menu with high quality ingredients from great local and specialists suppliers at their heart.
How to book
We are not a walk-in restaurant so you do need to book. Guests make menu choices and flag up any special dietary requirements no later than five days in advance (we’re always happy to adapt or offer alternatives). As we work with specialist suppliers and our events are one-off menus we can’t guarantee your choice from the menu If we don’t receive orders and any requests for adaptations in advance of the event.
To request a table of up to six just phone us on 01433 650203 or e-mail email@example.com. For tables of over six please get in touch with us to discuss by phone. The largest party for an evening event booking is 12.
Deposits and Friends of the Club
To confirm your booking we may (for particular events or large bookings) require a deposit of £10 per person. This deposit is then deducted from the bill on the evening for each attendee. We understand that there are times when you have to cancel or change your booking and we’d ask that you give as much notice as possible and we will endeavour to re-book your table in order to refund your deposit.
We’ve introduced this policy as we are small and have a special events and not a standard walk in model. As you can imagine cancellations, no-shows or reductions in group booking numbers have a huge effect on our viability of our evenings.
