A very unorthodox festive gathering, a final fling before you return to work. Our feast has a nod to Russian Christmas (celebrated on the 7th January). You can choose some Russian Christmas dishes (with a club twist) by following the star through the menu or just some of our favourite club dishes.
Russian salad blini
With an iced vodka shot to get you in the mood
Traditional beetroot soup with beef rib
Smoked garlic prawns
King prawns flamed in brandy and then covered in our own smoked garlic butter
Roquefort, pear and walnut tart with salad leaves and dill mayo
Rare Beef Stroganoff*
a fabulous club twist on this classic recipe made with stroganoff sauce topped with slices chateaubriand cuts of fillet steak
Basque seafood parcel
Loch salmon, cod and prawns pan- fried and then baked in parchment in an Espelette, red wine and tomato sauce
Sweet potato and aubergine melt
Made with a lightly spiced tomato, orange and rose port sauce
Vodka & Prune Waffle*
Soft juicy prunes, soaked in marmalade vodka covered in dark chocolate and served on a liege waffle with ice cream and Chantilly cream.
Triple chocolate brownie, Dark chocolate and Armagnac pot and clotted cream ice cream with salted caramel chocolate sauce.
A selection of 3 of our Club favourite cheeses with our own fruit jellies, crackers and relish.
