On the eve of St George’s gather family and friends around a table to feast on platters of quintessentially  English dishes using local ingredients with our Club twist.  You can wear your armour if you wish and arrive on your trusty stead but swords must be left in the umbrella stand…

Hathersage sloe gin and apple sorbet

 Main course

Chateaubriand cuts of local Peak District fillet steak. Red wine and balsamic reduction. Winter roasted vegetables.

English trout fillet crusted in a rich, smokey topping of local air-dried bacon, capers, dill and sourdough crumb


Gourmet Mushroom Wellington made with wild & field mushrooms, spinach & truffle oil. Marsala cream sauce

Mini roast potatoes, Green beans & griddled courgettes for the table

Dessert or Cheese Board


Chocolate heaven sharing board with;

poached English pear, chocolate salted caramel coating

chocolate, orange and brandy pot

Spiced apple, muscovado and dark chocolate brownie

Hope Valley clotted cream ice cream.
