Middle Eastern - Feast

A Middle Eastern Feast (for the eyes and the palate) night with mezze platters and a choice of main course and pudding.  This is relaxed but decadent.  We’ll light the lanterns and, the fire outside. Here’s to a star spangled night.

 

Sample Menu

STARTER

Gourmet Persian meze board…a feast of a sharing board for the table…including;

Marinated chicken wings

Fuhl – Egyptian broad beans, lemon, garlic with olive oil

Mhammara – Armenian red pepper tapenade

Halloumi with figs in syrup

Tabbouleh – herb salad

Herbed feta

Flatbreads

 

MAIN

Lamb & golden plum Koresh

Persian, slow cooked lamb stew with advieh spice (ground rose petals and other spices).

Or

Bahmieh – okra stew

Tomato and okra stew with fresh coriander

Both dishes served with a special Persian rice and a side of carrot, orange, mint and pine nut salad.
