Fête Champêtre Feast

Our French Summer Fête Champêtre Feast will hopefully start in the garden where you can enjoy a chilled Kir and perhaps a game of boules before the evening dinner commences.  Loosen all garments and take your time with this five course Feast.

 

AMUSE

Vichyssoise

A chilled glass of our palate cleansing cold soup with goats cheese crouton 

STARTERS

Smoked garlic king prawns with Rouille mayonnaise 

We love them both equally, but together, amazing!

Entrecôte salad

Strips of 28 day aged sirloin with roasted peach, crumbled Roquefort, roasted tomato, leaves and balsamic reduction  

Sweet and spiced roasted peppers

Rice stuffing with Agen prune, chilli, thyme, goats cheese. Dill and lemon mayonnaise. 

MAINS

Club Cassoulet 

Our own Toulouse sausages, ham hock, confit of duck and smoked lardons, slow cooked with haricot beans, herbs and Gaillac white wine to create a super indulgent meaty treat. Served with a simple green salad with a tangy citrus vinaigrette. 

Monk fish, salmon & king prawn ‘en papillote’

Baked in parchment with a fish stock, Gaillac white wine and tomato sauce. Samphire and lemon. Served with a bowl of our triple fried chips. 

Mini gros-souper tasting plate

A summer vegetarian take on our Southern French festive feast, with our roast vegetable stack topped with chèvre blanc and a caramelised onion, pepper and olive tartlet. 

CHEESE

House French cheeseboard selection for the table

Salty Roquefort with honey, Ossau Iraty with a sweet and tangy relish and petit Valençay goats cheese with black grapes.

DESSERT

Black Cherry Clafoutis 

Part flan, part tart with black cherries soaked in rosé port. Chantilly cream. Toasted almonds

Cointreau pot au chocolate

Intense dark chocolate thick mousse topped with orange fillets and raspberries
